VOICES FROM GUANTÁNAMO
A unique opportunity to hear directly from the Guantánamo detainees. Some of these men composed poetry “inside the wire” with little expectation of it ever reaching an audience. We are bringing these voices to the New York stage, but we need your help! >Learn more

Returning in fall 2009

Voices From Guantánamo:
The detainees speak.

A look at Guantanamo Detention Center based on poems written by some of the detainees and rescued by volunteer lawyers. Written with little expectation of ever reaching an audience, the poems reveal a human dimension to what is happening at America's notorious prison camp. Adapted by Duane Mazey from the anthology Poems From Guantanamo. Directed by Carlo D'Amore with music by Dave Hall.
